Stamford University is organizing the 3rd international conference on ''The Effective Teaching of English in Bangladesh: Pedagogy and Best Practices'' in association with BELTA (Bangladesh English Language Teachers Association).
We, at Stamford, believe that the issue is vital to our national interests and invite intensive engagement of policy makers and practitioners, starting from Vice Chancellors to classroom instructors. In short, we consider your involvement imperative to the success of the conference.
The conference is scheduled for Saturday, 9th July 2005, and will be held at 9 am at 51, Siddeswari Road Campus of Stamford University Bangladesh. Dr. M Osman Farruk, MP, Honorable Minister of Education, Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has kindly consented to be the chief guest of the program. Dr. Henry N. Tisdale, President, Claflin University, South Carolina, USA, will inaugurate the conference and present the keynote address. Prof. M. A. Hannan Feroz, PhD, Vice Chancellor & President, Stamford University Bangladesh will chair the inaugural ceremony.
