Admission at Stamford University in different programs is open to all provided they meet admission requirements. Admission Requirements
Requirements for admission to bachelor and master programs at Stamford University vary with the discipline the applicants choose. Requirements for admission into different programs are given below:
For Bachelor Programs
For All Science and Engineering Related Bachelor Programs:
° Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C with science background or equivalent
° Minimum O-Level in 3 subjects and A-Level in 2 subjects with a minimum grade of C from science background
For All Arts, Law, Social Science and Business Related Bachelor Programs:
° Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C or equivalent
° Minimum O-Level in 3 subjects and A-Level in 2 subjects with a minimum grade of C
Direct Admission
To get the opportunity of direct admission students should have total GPA 7.50 or above adding the GPA of SSC & HSC for Pharmacy, BBA and EEE programs and total GPA 7.00 or above adding the GPA of SSC & HSC for others programs. All directly admitted students would have to attend the Placement Test on English. Students seeking scholarship on the basis of performance in admission test can sit for admission test. English section of Admission Test of relevant program usually considered as Placement Test.
For Master Programs:
° Students who wish to get themselves admitted at Stamford's master programs should have at least 6 points without any 3rd class or 7 points with a third class at graduation level to be computed as follows:
